What a GREAT feeling!!
I headed into Coco10 a few days ago for one of my regular appointments.  While I was checking in, I overheard a gentleman say that "This salon is one of the cleanest I've ever seen..." As he was leaving, I noticed that he was a State Health Inspector!! I had to give Coco10 a shout out!!!
This experience only confirmed what I have known for years. Places and people that are so dedicated and trustworthy are hard to find...I couldn't keep all of this valuable info all to myself!

I was looking for a last minute cut and found a great one here. They took me as a walk-in and helped me feel comfortable. I have never been there, but I do work nearby so it was convenient. Lori did a great job on my hair and was very accomodating to my suggestions. The price was reasonable and the cut was great. I walked out with a smile.

I am so excited to write my review for Coco 10 and Cary's Secret's for Hair.  I was walking around Los Gatos one day and saw a sign for Coco 10 and how they did hair extensions.  I'd been playing with the idea of getting extensions for a few months and decided to go in and ask the questions I needed to ask to make a decision.

 
Immediately upon entering, I was greeted by Cary who was enthusiastic about answering my questions.  New to the "extension world", she explained the different options and made a recommendation.   I have  A LOT of hair, and it's a little longer than shoulder length.  I wanted extensions  because my hair always gets to this length (I hate it)  and I chop it off.  So I figured if I could bypass my natural hair length with extensions, that would be awesome!

I can't lie - it was an expensive undertaking, but I have gotten so many compliments on my hair, and it curls soooo nicely.  I went back for an adjustment and highlights about 6 weeks later and walked out feeling glamorous once again.  Unfortunately for whatever reason the extensions started to slip out early (after about 2 weeks)  I was disappointed and called Cary to tell her what had happened and she said to come in that afternoon and she'd check out what was going on, free of charge, without seeing how much work it was going to be! 

 

 She ended up doing a complete re-adjustment and it didn't cost me anything but the 90 minutes it took to complete.  I thought it was really fair and nice customer service.  

Obviously I'll be going back to get my extensions re-adjusted anyway, but I will be back because I always walk out liking what Cary has done with my hair!

 

 

 

I have found my hairdresser for life!  Marisa G. gave superior customer service as well as technical service.  I have naturally curly hair, and I was searching for a hairdresser who does the Brazilian straightener series.  Marisa was very proficient and was very confident in working with this product on my hair.  The straightener did just the very thing I was hoping for-which was to give me more control and softening effect on my hair.  

 

She also colors my hair and both process' seem to have actually made my hair softer and it for sure has more shine.  If you have curly, color-treated hair you search long and far for a hairdresser who will take care of your hair...Marisa is the one for this.  She knows and understands curly hair and I'd
recommend her!  She's worth the wait.

 

 

 

Top Stylist in Los Gatos: Carla Oliveira - when she cuts your hair, you'll get compliments everywhere you go. I have gone through a few different styles with Carla and the cut is always beautiful, people have even commented weeks later that my hair looks like I just came from the salon because it falls "just so." Even when I just wash it and run, it looks great. Carla always listens to what I want and I guess she just has a way with her scissors!

Carla is at Coco 10 Salon on Elm Street in downtown Los Gatos. I have followed her across a few different salons, including Elle Kiss and Trends. She has also cut my teenage daughters' hair with results we were pleased with, and corrected a home coloring disaster (or two) for my oldest daughter. Carla is a wonderful person - friendly, pleasant, professional and smart, you really should try her for your next haircut and/or color!

 

 

 

This Salon was Really Great! I went in and the owner talked to me and she was really kind and helpful.  The salon was clean and calm and had great services to choose from.  A place to look into if you ask me.

 

 

 

 

Cute bouitque salon with lots of light. Everyone was very welcoming the minute I walked in. I get my hair cut and highlights by Marissa. Due to the many compliments I get from my friends and strangers on my hair and skin is why I keep going back. I highly recommend CoCo10 Studio!

I have never in my life received a follow up phone call to see how my hairstyle and color worked out the next day.  I have never received a thank you card from my hairstylist ever... until now.  If you don't call Marisa for your haircut and color, then I don't know what you are waiting for.  She spent a lot of time figuring out what I wanted, and what she thought would work.

 

 She is the consumate professional in my opinion and I am so glad I found someone whom I feel like I can trust.  I am really impressed with her service!!  I'm so glad my friend, Nancy, recommended her.  Her prices are reasonable, her service is amazing, and she's personable and friendly.    What more could you want?

I walked into the salon today because I saw they offered hair extensions (from a sign outside).  I currently wear extensions from another salon, but over the last year have been down a very bumpy road with them. They are either falling out, shedding, or not very good quality. I decided to walk in on a whim to ask if they knew anything about how to tackle these problems. What I really wanted to see is how much they would try to either 'sell' them to me, or actually 'talk' to me about them. Boy, I was blown away.

 

 It felt wonderful to speak with Cary.  She listened to my problems, and remembered them later when we talked about options. My favorite part? She offered to talk to my own stylst to help her with the problems we were having! I was incredibly pleased to see such a wonderful person handing her business in such a professional, and positive way.  

 

I look forward to working with them in the future, for sure.  And, I went home and read the reviews on the salon, and also noticed how wonderful her responses were to some of the harsh, one star reviews. Well done.  Thank you again for all your help today.

If you're looking for a stylist and colorist with a lot of knowledge, pure products and a helpful, attentive attitude then please see Michelle Flamm at Coco 10 Salon in Los Gatos.  After using Aveda color for many years, Michelle offered me the chance to go with Organic Color Systems....truly organic hair color. It's beautiful, heathful, and environmentally correct.

 

 And Michelle has taken more time than I can account for to get the color just right for me.

 

 She also works wonders with cuts, taking into account the client's personal style, head shape, hair texture and the level of daily care the client is used to giving his or her "do"..

My wife tried Coco 10 Studio and I have to admit that her hair has never looked better.  Her stylist Danielle, is one of the best.  Since I'm a believer in reviews, I had to write in and give Danielle a positive, five star review. I love love love my nails. The calgel is still on  my nail, and i'm trying to be uber careful. Shoko is really sweet and her work is fantastic. There are so many things to choose from ( i.e. color, glitter, designs).
     I had an appointment at 5:00 pm but was able to get there an hour early. I dropped in just to see if we can move the appointment and thankfully she was not with another client and I was able to start about 45 mins earlier than planned.
   I wish she was closer and that it was a little more affordable, but I'll take what I can get. I have notoriously horrible peeling, chipping, breaking nails so the calgel works for me.
  Also I've been getting into the japanese 3d nail art stuff and Shoko makes bows and flowers and she's working on Hello Kitty as we speak. So YAY for shoko and 3d nails and calgel. I approve!!!

 

 

 

 

Went to Cocoa 10 Salon on April 5th for a Brazilian Blow Out by Marissa
I am soooooo happy with the results! This is one of the best things I have done for myself. Before I had the treatment I could not go out into the rain without my hair frizzing out,and exercising would make it even worse.

 

 My hair is so soft and healthy looking after the Brazilian Blow out  I can go out into the rain, exercise and not be embarrassed at the way my hair looks. Marissa was not only very knowledgeable about the procedure she made me feel very comfortable. Marissa is truley the best stylist. You will be completely satisfied, don't wait!!!!!

I love this place. I tried it for the first time yesterday.
I arrived about 5 minutes early. Danielle was finishing up with another client. They offered me water or tea. There were plenty of magazines and friendly people while I waited. I haven't had my hair cut in almost a year. It was super long and I was really needing something shorter and easier to deal with. I told Danielle how short she could go, that she could do whatever.

 

It took about 30-40 mintues to wash my hair and get it cut. I feel so good with all of the spit ends and long hair gone. I can't wait to go back to get my hair highlighted next month.

Their nail technician, Shoko is absolutely fabulous!  Not only did she get a nail license in the US, but also in Japan too.  If you want unique,  amazing, healthy nails... Shoko is it.  I've been going to her for over a year now & I am always walking away happy as can be.  Her designs are so original and she is skilled in her technique.  It is a little pricier than acrylic nails and depends on the designs you chose, but it's so much better for you than acrylic or regular gel nails.

Melissa is super nice and does a wonderful coloring job. She added a bunch of high/low lights and it looks really good. Can't wait to go back to get my hair done again.

 

 

 

 

I just moved to the area and my sister suggested I see Michelle at COCO10.  She did such a great job!  My cut and color always look great.  

Michelle uses organic coloring and just today used an organic hair straightening treatment - it looks and feels great.  There was really no harsh chemical smell like you hear from the Brazilian Blowout.  

I would definitely recommend Michelle!

Danielle is the best stylist and colorist I've ever had!! I actually had my cut and color about a month ago and still get compliments. I had shoulder length dark brown hair and wanted a style that was chin length and blonde (not just highlights) BLONDE.

 

I brought a picture and told here what I wanted she said she might not have time to do the color, because it would be a long process, my hair is naturally dark dark brown. She did the cut and it was awesome. She took some of my hair that she cut to see how my hair would react to the bleach with I thought was great, I felt very comfortable with her right away and she 's a great listener, she asks questions too, does'nt just say OK and do whatever like other stylists I've had. So I went back to have my blonde done, she showed me 3 different shades that she did with my hair and we got started.

 

It was great, I went back a week later and got some hightlights. I look better each time I see her. Can't wait to make my next appointment. Thank you so much Danielle see you soon.
